Doug came into real estate after graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 1973. His father had been a real estate broker dating back to the 1950's in Toronto, so he was following a family tradition. Now a third generation of Williams have joined the profession – Doug's son Ben, who works in commercial real estate, and his son Joe who works together with Doug.

Doug has spent time in real estate sales management with Royal Trust and Royal Lepage. As well, he was an owner of a number of Re/max offices in the area. Additionally, Doug spent time in commercial real estate as a partner in an international real estate brokerage. Now Doug is delighted to have spent the last couple decades selling homes in the area and enjoys working with Joe.

Doug grew up in Toronto, but has resided in Oakville for the past 30 + years. He enjoys walking, golfing, volunteer work, and travel.
